Bosch highlights vast array of new parts and tools

Bosch had it usual large stand at Automechanika Frankfurt with the theme being how the parts and technology company can offer simple solutions in challenging times.


Bosch aims to help workshops to future-proof their business through a decade of change and had technology experts on stand, live demonstrations and information on all the latest solutions for the industry. 

A host of new innovations and updates were introduced at the show. One of the highlights was a new module for the Bosch DAS 3000 ADAS recalibration system for calibration of lateral and rear radar sensors. There was also new digital process demonstrated which offers the potential to halve calibration device set-up. 

With new exhaust emission legislation due in January 2023 (Euro6/VI), Bosch also presented it new BEA 090 Particle Counter which complements existing emission test equipment for diesel engines. 

With regard to diagnostics, Bosch experts were also able to show how it has integrated the Tesla brand and created access to protected vehicle data from Ford and Porsche into the Esitronic diagnostic software. A new Bosch DCU 120 Tablet PC, with an 11.6 inch full HD display and fast microprocessor was also introduced. 

On the parts and equipment side, new EV charging cables were introduced as well as Bosch QUICK FIX, universal tyre sensors, which can offer 90% coverage of the EU car parc from just 4 part numbers. There was also the new DCI 200 Single Common Rail Injector Test Bench. 

New Bosch Aerotwin J.E.T Blades with integrated spray nozzles were on display as was the popular Bosch cabin filter range.  The latest in Bosch glow plugs and batteries were featured along with a new CDR Tool for accessing Event Data Recorders. 

Last, but by no means least, Bosch was also highlighting its training and information recourses.
