Bosch will focus on the "Connected Workshop”, its interaction with other web-based services and the application of Augmented Reality at Automechanika Frankfurt. The connected workshop will be a key feature of the massive 2,400 m2 Bosch exhibition stand in hall 9, which will also sees hourly product presentations.

Bosch will be showing Connected Repair software which offers innovations in workshop scheduling and puts vehicle data and repair history at the finger tips of technicians once a vehicle arrives. Intelligent diagnostic equipment can then aid the service or repair and a photo feature can document work and provide a transparent record for the customer.  The software can also be used on all devices throughout the workshop with an activation code.

The company will also be demonstrating the latest developments in Augmented Reality for workshops. This uses smart glasses or tablets to display documentation, explanatory texts, instructions, manuals or circuit diagrams, three-dimensional objects or photos and videos on specific components and systems simply by pointing the device camera onto the vehicle. Bosch estimates by providing access to such information instantly it can help reduce task times by as much as 15%.

The stand will also feature many product highlights such as the KTS 560 / 590 diagnostic systems and the digital HTD 815 headlight tester.
In addition to Bosch products and services innovations will also be presented from the Beissbarth, Robinair, Sicam and OTC brands on the stand in Hall 9.
