Laser Tools have introduced new specialist brake bleeder wrenches which are designed to simplify brake bleeding and in many cases let the operator bleed the brakes without removing the road wheels.

The wrench set (part number 6783) greatly simplifies the bleeding procedure. Laser says the technician should clean and lubricate the bleed valve then fit the wrench over it, with the wrench’s internal seal and built-in socket fitting snugly over the valve. The bleed tube is then fitted onto the nipple that is built into the wrench (a 1.2 metre length of silicone tube complete with one-way valve is supplied). Thus the wrench can be turned and repositioned without any fear of dragging against the bleed tube, or separating the bleed tube from the valve. To turn further, the technician just lifts the handle of the wrench, repositions and continue turning.

Six sizes of wrench are supplied in the set, to cover most popular applications: 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm and 12 mm, all colour-coded for easy identification.

Laser says the wrenches are ideal for use with both brake and clutch hydraulic systems. They are supplied in a sturdy blow-mould case with internal foam to keep the wrenches and tube secure and tidy. The new wrenches are now available now from Laser Tools stockist.
