The potentially problematic process of cutting automotive battery cable has been made easy by a new handy cable cutter from Laser Tools.

It is often difficult to cut and get an even, professional looking cut when dealing with thicker cables.  The new cutter from Laser (part number 6872) is designed to effortlessly snip through automotive cable of up to 70mm² in size. Just as easy as using a pair of scissors and it leaves a professionally cut cable.

Removing the insulation is also just as easy and the tool also includes a handy insulated terminal crimper, which makes very neat crimps.

This is a robust and well-made tool, with the blades manufactured from highly corrosion-resistant SUS 420 J2 stainless steel and the cutting edges hardened to 56 HRC (Rockwell scale). The handles are glassfibre reinforced nylon with TPV inserts for increased grip.

It is suitable for cutting thin cable and thicker cable with equally impressive results and is now available from your Laser Tools stockist.
