Major exhibitions such as Equip Auto provide a perfect showcase for innovative bodyshop equipment suppliers such as Car-O-Liner, to show their latest product innovations.

 

The Car-O-Liner stand in Paris featured a wide range of equipment, including all of its latest measuring systems, alignment benches, welders, spotters and cutters.

 

One of the smaller items of equipment on display, the PointX was attracting special attention. This lightweight and easy to use measuring arm has already become a firm favourite with many Irish bodyshops and repairers from across Europe were showing particular interest in the fast and effective tool at Equip Auto.

 

Also on show were the latest enhancements to the company’s Vision2 measuring software. This guides the entire repair process and performs automatic centring, measuring and documentation. The new Vision2 interface features user-friendly graphics, that allow users to measure damaged vehicles 20% faster than the previous Vision software version. The photo-based 3D Vision2 software is also integrated with Car-O-Data, the world’s largest vehicle database, making it easy to find all the vehicle information required and allow for reduced cycle times and accurate and efficient alignment work.
