Caravaners lose "most hated" tag
Share:

A new motorist poll has removed the unwanted tag of the "most hated" road users from the caravanning fraternity. Instead, it is the farmer who now seems to annoy the motorist most.

Over the years caravan owners have developed a bad reputation with many motorists, by causing tailbacks on narrow roads. However, it now seems that the farm tractor and trailer is the sight that now fills more motorists with dread.

According to survey results, the Top Five Most Hated Road Users are:

1. Tractor drivers
2. Caravan owners
3. Sunday drivers
4. Learner drivers
5. Cyclists

One note of caution is that the poll was the work of Caravaninsurance.com. Draw your own conclusions as to whether a poll carried out by the Farmers Union would have come up with the same results.
