Series 2 of the TG4 programme Feirm Factor sponsored by Land Rover Ireland took 12 farmers from across the country and challenged their farming skills, business acumen and physical and mental endurance. The aim was to find Ireland's premier farmer.

Contestants were asked to prove their worth as farmers through a variety of tasks. After nine tough weeks of silage, sweat and tears, twelve were whittled down to three. Judges Alan Dukes, Seán O'Lionáird and TV Presenter Maura Derrane voted Caroline O'Neill as the Feirm Factor Champion 2010 and winner of a Land Rover Discovery.

"Caroline was a hardworking and very deserving winner of Feirm Factor, her determination and positive attitude proved she had what it takes and made her a match for any male farmer" Seán O'Lionáird, Feirm Factor Judge

.

25 year old Caroline O'Neill from Ballinadee, Co. Cork, a former regional Queen of The Land, entered the competition to show her capabilities and dispel any sexist attitudes to women in farming today.
