Ireland’s Darragh Smith of Brady’s Cavan took top spot when he won the Parts Manager Category at the International Finals of the Škoda Challenge, which took place in Spain recently.
Over 200 Škoda employees from 35 countries competed in the initiative designed to ensure that Škoda employees, across the world, maintain best-in-class standards, for their ever-growing customer base.
Paul Bruton of Noel Deasy Škoda, Cork was placed a creditable seventh in the Diagnostic Technician category while Robbie Matthews of Western Motors was also placed seventh in the Sales Manager category.
Seven Škoda employees in all from various parts of the country competed in the eighth international finals of the Škoda Challenge last month. The Škoda Challenge includes several different categories, including Best Sales Executive, Best Sales Manager, Best Service Advisor, Best Service Technician, Best Diagnostic Technician, and Best Parts Manager.
