Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new series of compact and ergonomic ratchets for the vehicle service industry that delivers exceptional power, durability and user comfort in a large variety of workshop applications. The company says these air tools have the best price performance ratio on the market and bring maximum value for the customer.

The versatile CP7829 and CP7829H ratchets come with two socket size options - 3/8” and 1/2” - and are designed for a range of applications including heavy duty transmission and suspension jobs, lighter engine repair, dashboard work, and general maintenance.

With a strong breakaway torque of 70 ft.lbs (95Nm) and a fast rundown at 225RPM, advanced motor and a full caged gear, this ratchet gives the user maximum power, high speed, and superior durability. It also weighs just 2.6 lbs. (1.2 kg), is compact to allow users better access to restricted areas, and well balanced for improved user experience. As such, vehicle service professionals can operate more efficiently and increase their productivity.

The ratchets are safe and easy to operate with a progressive teasing throttle and ergonomic composite grip which insulates the operator’s hand from the cold. Furthermore, they have an adjustable side exhaust which avoids blowing dirt and dust at the user.

Yann Pasco, product marketing manager at Chicago Pneumatic says, “At Chicago Pneumatic, our goal is to empower our customers’ productivity and to make tough jobs easier. Our new compact yet exceptionally powerful ratchet is the perfect companion for the workshop toolbox. Users can also be confident of the high quality of our equipment as we test all tools to ensure maximum reliability and meet safety standards.”
