Citroen may join the retro revolution

First there was the VW Beetle, then the Mini and more recently the Fiat 500. It seems that the motoring public love nothing more than an updated version of an automotive icon. This has not gone unnoticed at Citroen, who may be about to get in on the retro revolution, with a brand new version of the 2CV.

The deux chevaux may not have been the most popular car with motoring enthusiasts, but it did have many fans and its appears that the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the original model, might be the spur for Citroen to dip its toe in the water with a new 2CV concept. Italian designer Paola Martin has already given his interpretation of how a new 2CV might look.
