Citroen opens new Irish subsidiary	Thierry Calewaert of Citroën Motors Ireland.

Citroën France has announced the establishment of a new factory owned distributor in Ireland called Citroen Motors Ireland. The new company replaces the previous arrangement, where by Citroen cars in Ireland were distributed by the Gowan Group. Citroen Motors Ireland will now take on distribution of new vehicles and spare parts in the Republic, while the Gowan Group will continue in its role as Peugeot distributor.


Thierry Calewaert the new managing director of Citroën Motors Ireland said: "We are delighted to be investing in the important Irish market and bringing these exciting new models into the country.” He added, "Customers can be assured we are committed to improving customer service and enhancing the dealer network.
