Some cars are holding their value even in the current fluctuating market and some are doing even better. This 1936 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic has just become the most expensive second hand car ever, selling at brokered auction for a price in the region of US$35 million.

It might not be everyone’s idea of beauty, but the Bugatti is very rare, only three were ever made and only two survive and it was technically a marvel of its day.
