Sherwin-Williams Automotive Europe has made a number of new additions to its product line up. Two new compliant aerosols have been added to its A-Tech line.

The 1k Rub-Thru Aerosol Primer - a product suitable for any kind of surface as a wash primer ensuring excellent adhesion, or as a filler with first class filling properties. This product is recommended for spot repair and part refinishing, is quick and easy to apply, with fast drying times and excellent stone chip and scratch resistance.

The Fade-out Thinner in Aerosol - this blending thinner makes surfaces extremely easy to polish and has good re-dissolving properties. It is especially useful for spot repairs and fast blend-in jobs. It is suitable for use with 1k/2k clears over base systems and 2k topcoats.

Also from Sherwin Williams is the new 720 Ultra High Performance Plus Clear. This is a versatile ultrafast Urethane clearcoat, with a low VOC content. It is formulated for a wide range of applications including multi-panel repairs, complete refinishes and inside edges and offers high gloss with excellent polishing properties.

The final new product is the Slow Basecoat Reducer 455 0002 for the AWX system. This is an advanced basecoat thinner that offers an alternative to Deionised Water, especially for use in hot temperatures where it guarantees a slower drying action and reduces vapours. Slow Basecoat Reducer significantly adds to the flexibility of the AWX waterborne system helping to further improve results and productivity.
