Connacht Rugby supporter Eithne McGuinness drove away in a brand new Mazda 2 after winning first prize in the Connacht Rugby Mazda Car Raffle.

The raffle was set up in conjunction with title sponsors Mazda to help raise funds for clubs across the province and as well as the top prize of a brand new Mazda 2 there were some very noteworthy runners up prizes.

The draw was a huge success with clubs all across Connacht getting behind the fundraiser to generate vital cash and be in with a chance to win some of the fantastic prizes.

Richard Molloy, PR & Marketing Director of Mazda Ireland said: "We are delighted to hand over the keys to Eithne. The Mazda 2 is fun to drive and incredibly fuel efficient and wish Eithne many happy years motoring."

Commercial Manager of Connacht Rugby Fiona Keys added: "This raffle was a big success and Connacht Rugby is delighted to be able to hand over this wonderful prize. Tickets were sold through the clubs and the Connacht Rugby offices and people from all across the country were keen to take part, especially with the prizes on offer. I would like to congratulate all the winners and in particular wish Eithne the very best with her new Mazda."
