The Ford 2.0 EcoBlue engine features on many larger Ford car models as well as the ever popular Ford Transit van. Because of this, many of these engines do high mileages and the need to change the timing belt can occur. The Ford 2.0 EcoBlue features belt-in-oil technology, meaning its timing belt runs in an oil bath. This reduces frictional losses, which has a positive effect on fuel consumption and noise levels.
