Roger Dyson Ltd, the UK’s largest manufacturer of vehicle transporters, roadside rescue vehicles and heavy recovery equipment, has reported that its business is expanding despite the challenging economic conditions.
The company is now looking to recruit new staff for its paint and finishing shop, to cope with rising demand. Dyson is reporting strong sales and increased interest from customers in Ireland and the UK, especially during the third quarter of this year.
The company continues to supply vehicles that effectively meet the specific needs of customers. A recent example of this is the supply of a new 7.5-tonne Mitsubishi Fuso Canter 7C18D, fitted with a Dyson Hydraloader 3000 La slidebed, to a leading recovery operator in the south west of England.
Torbay-based Yalberton Autos, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, has a 17-vehicle fleet, but this is the first Dyson vehicle to be commissioned. Managing Director John Denbow, said he was particularly impressed by the Hydraloader La’s 10-degree load angle and also commented on the great value that Dyson vehicles represent. He said, “Dyson’s equipment has never been the cheapest, but the Hydraloader is very sturdy and well built, so I’m happy that it represents excellent value for money.”
