With the two week countdown to Automechanika Birmingham commencing, the 550 domestic and international exhibitors are preparing for the action packed three days. With 50+ world class seminars, SMMT’s ‘Meet the Buyer’ and Open Forum, plus the many feature areas, Automechanika Birmingham is set to provide visitors the tools to future proof their businesses.

The show is hosting not only UK based companies, but international businesses with 38% of the exhibitors representing 30 countries around the globe, including China, Spain and Italy. The exhibition boasts two national pavilions from Italy and Spain, with the Spanish pavilion organised by SERNAUTO, the Spanish Automotive Equipment and Components Manufacturers Association.

As well as Automechanika Birmingham being a platform for companies to exhibit, the event is hosting a range of innovative and diverse seminars from experts in their respective fields. Speakers include Sarwant Singh from Frost & Sullivan, Wendy Williamson from IAAF and Gareth Tomkinson at Renishaw, who are all presenting thought provoking and financially beneficial ideas and issues to visitors. The 50+ seminars will be presented across three theatres, the Keynote Theatre sponsored by Morris Lubricants, the Aftermarket Theatre sponsored by Aftermarket magazine and the Technical Theatre, with Workshops for the Aftermarket, organised by autotechnician magazine and sponsored by TecRMI: the full seminar programme is available on the Automechanika Birmingham website: www.automechanika-birmingham.com

The exhibition is also providing visitors with additional attractions, such as a ‘New Product Showcase’, ‘Innovation Trail’ and a ‘Workshop of the Future’ feature area to demonstrate the latest developments in the automotive industry. This includes interactive technology and the latest developments that will represent the future for the independent workshop.

Overall, Automechanika Birmingham has something to offer everyone across the automotive industry, including both the supply chain and aftermarket, from the latest products to meeting potential business partners; this event is the one to attend to secure the future of a business.
