Double Naylor Engineering Irish Hillclimb Champion, Joe Courtney (Reynard 913-Peugeot) scored another weekend double at Carrick-on-Bannow, in Co. Wexford.

Winner on both days of the Wexford event, it means that Courtney has increased his lead in this year's title race.

On day one, the Galway driver beat his closest rival for the Championship, Rob Dwane by just over a second.

Disaster struck Dwane on day two as he damaged his car on the practice run.  With the Clare driver out of the running Courtney was a clear five seconds ahead of runner up Rory Stephens on a shorter course.
