Cromax is making its direct-to-metal Non-Sanding Surfacers NS2602 and NS2607 even more productive for refinishers with the introduction of aerosol versions. Designed specifically as a quick and economical alternative for refinishing smaller areas of paint damage or sand through areas, these are now available under part numbers NS2602A and NS2607A.

NS2602A (off-white) and NS2607A (black) come ready-mixed with AZ9600 plastic additive, enabling optimal versatility and productivity for refinishers when repairing exterior plastic vehicle components. The two aerosol primer-surfacers can also be used on metal substrates such as steel, zinc and aluminium.

Kevin Welling, Training Academy Manager for Axalta Coating Systems says, “We constantly look to bring innovations to our refinishers that can help boost productivity, and that are also flexible in use and robust in application. These ready-for-use aerosol primer-surfacers fit the bill perfectly. They have been specially designed to boost the repair process by eliminating the need for a two-stage build-up. Not only do they have a broad application window, but they can also be applied either as wet-on-wet primer-surfacers or as sanding primer-surfacers. And for added versatility, they can be coated with all Cromax basecoats and topcoats.”
