CSS network expands Tallaght Ford has become the first Ford dealer in the Dublin area to be certified

The network of bodyshops that have achieved Certified Steel Standard (CSS) certification continues to grow with two recent additions announced.


Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs in Oranmore Co. Galway becomes the first bodyshop in the west of Ireland to achieve standard, while Tallaght Ford becomes the first Ford dealer in the Dublin area to be certified.

CSS set out strict quality, equipment and training criteria which must be reached in order to meet the highest standards in vehicle structural body repair. The initiative which has been developed by the SIMI see bodyshops independently audited. 

Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland commented, “Tallaght Ford is one of our top performing dealerships and their achievement in meeting the CSS standard is another example of their drive to be industry standard bearers in everything they do.”
