Engine products and drive systems supplier Dayco has announced that Bruno Vallillo has been named President of its business in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. As President he will manage the Company’s original equipment and aftermarket businesses in these regions, including sales, manufacturing, distribution and all support functions.

With Dayco since 2006, Vallillo has extensive experience in sales, marketing and engineering and has played a major in the company’s growth in the European and South American aftermarkets. Speaking about the appointment, John Bohenick, Chief Executive Officer for Dayco said, “Bruno will continue to help Dayco meet its goal of improving how the world moves by creating products, systems and relationships that endure.”

In line with this appointment, the current President of Dayco’s business in Europe Bernd Winterhagen, will be retiring from the company. Winterhagen has worked for Dayco since 1980 and has led its teams in Europe and India for more than 35 years. Under Bernd’s leadership, Dayco has grown its business in China, Europe and South America, completed multiple strategic acquisitions and opened several manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide. John Bohenick commented, “Bernd’s contributions and steadfast performance have made Dayco a stronger, truly global organisation. While he will be missed at Dayco, we wish Bernd the best on his well-deserved retirement.”
