To improve customer service and provide its customers with up-to-date application information, Dayco, announced the latest update to its catalog smartphone app. Version 2.0 of the catalog app, which contains technical information and details about Dayco replacement parts for passenger car, light and heavy trucks and buses is now available in the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) and Windows Store (Windows Phone).

“Our app and web catalogs are another way we interface with the aftermarket in order to support our customers throughout the lifecycle of the products and systems we provide,” said Franca Pierobon, Marketing and Communications Manager of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India for Dayco. “Providing the sought after information enables our customers to have full confidence in Dayco products and reinforces our drive to serve our global customer base.”

Developed in 2014 and similar to the Dayco online aftermarket catalogue, the Dayco app includes technical information, installation instructions and product spec data in seven languages. Version 2.0 has been updated with a new design to better showcase the strength of the Dayco brand and includes the latest technology which improves performance and functionality.

Version 2.0 also gives users the ability to scan the barcode of all product packaging in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. When scanned, the barcode directs users to a product-specific site showing all product details and applicable vehicles.

“We completely rebuilt the app and this version makes it easier than ever for our customers to access our product information and the most relevant vehicle data, such as pictures, routings and layouts, technical instructions and more,” said Enzo Rabante, Global IT Manager - Business Intelligence, Web and Digital for Dayco.

Dayco web and traditional print catalogue offer aftermarket coverage for nearly 90 percent of the global car parc. For more information on the Dayco app and web catalogues, visit DaycoAftermarket.com.
