Dayco has announced its Long Life Warranty is now available on its High Tenacity Timing Belt range.

The Dayco High Tenacity range has been developed to meet the demands of modern diesel engine designs such as Fiat JTD, Ford TD and TDCi, Peugeot/Citroen HDi, Renault dCi and VW Group TDI engines. Dayco HT products are fitted as original equipment to virtually all new-generation diesel engines.

Distributors, Team P R Reilly, have advised that Dayco approved garages can now register and issue a three year unlimited mileage warranty direct to their customers, providing a highly useful additional selling point and complete peace of mind.

The Dayco HT series is a patented product and the only approved direct replacement for Original Equipment on the relevant engines. The majority of all Diesel hi-tech modern engines require a HT belt. Garages will recognise most as Dayco HT originals by their white tooth drive area.
 
Dayco has developed the twin spiralled glass-fibre cord technology, which is wound into the core of these belts to give them incredible tensional strength, while the patented PTFE/cotton fabric coating on their teeth reduces friction and wear and gives these High Tenacity belts their instantly recognisable appearance.

Team P R Reilly point out that garages need to be aware of the risks of the inferior imitations in the market place and ensure they only fit the unique Dayco HT timing belt kit, which is the only genuine like-for-like aftermarket replacement for a ‘white’ timing belt.
