Just a month after the Dayco Suzhou China facility was recognized by Caterpillar and presented with its Platinum Level Supplier Quality Excellence Process certificate, Dayco Europe SRL has been awarded the same accolade for its site in Ivrea, Italy.

Underlining the company’s outstanding production standards and consistent adherence to process protocols, the 2020 certificate follows a similar award in 2018, which came after a Gold Level honour in 2015.

Commenting on the award, Michael Weiss, the company’s President of Global Powertrain Operations, said, “In order to be able to supply vehicle manufacturers around the world with components of the quality that they demand and expect, we must apply strict and consistent standards across all our facilities. The fact that another Dayco facility has been recognized by Caterpillar speaks volumes about the company’s dedication to manufacturing excellence and the abilities of our workforce. The award joins the quality awards many of our sites have earned from a variety of vehicle manufacturers across multiple sectors. We view these awards as recognition of our commitment to move forward, always.”
