The SIMI will be holding an important Trade Exhibition on October 22nd, in the Red Cow Hotel from 2pm – 9pm. The event is designed to keep the aftermarket in touch with increasingly complex vehicle technology and to highlight the latest products, systems and equipment available from the industry’s leading suppliers.

The event is being staged as a direct reaction to demand from SIMI members reflecting the increased activity and growing opportunities in the motor trade the sector.

At the event there will be an emphasis on finding ways to encourage motorists to choose high quality professional motor trade businesses for service and repair work something the SIMI is keen to promote through initiatives such as Autosure and CSS. The RSA, who are hugely concerned about the safety implications of neglected repair work in vehicles, will be running regular campaigns on the importance of going to professional businesses for car maintenance.

This Trade Exhibition will help to keep motor trade business at the forefront of the vehicle service, repair and maintenance sector, providing an opportunity to discuss with experts, how to diagnose day to day problems, deal with common faults, create new business opportunities and get access to the latest vital technology and information.

Although it can sometimes seems counterproductive to leave your place of business for a day, or even a few hours, the chance to learn about new products and services, meet potential customers or business partners and get up-to-date with latest developments can be invaluable.  Meeting people in the same industry can provide you with insight on new areas of the industry you may not have explored yet. The SIMI expo is the ideal opportunity to meet influential people and broaden horizons.

The event is free to attend, pre-registration is advisable, go to www.simi.ie/tradeexpo
