Congratulations to Keith Walsh, MKW Motors, Dublin and Mark Murphy, Mark

Murphy Motors, Kilkenny, on achieving Bosch Master Technician status.  The technicians recently attended their 1 day assessment in the new Bosch Training Centre in Uxbridge, England, and are the first Bosch Master technicians in Ireland.

MKW Motors is a member of the Bosch Car Service Programme and is also a Bosch training partner, regularly hosting Bosch training events in their Dublin garage. The assessment took place at the new Bosch Service Training Centre in Uxbridge, England, on the day of the official opening, which was attended by the Duke of York.

The Bosch Diagnostic Technician program involves 25 days of training and a 1 day Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) assessment. Training is provided for all types of diagnostics, as well as customer care.

The Bosch Master Technician programme is designed for technicians who have completed the Bosch Diagnostic Technician  programme and wish to further develop their diagnostic and repair skills to an advanced level. The programme involves a total of 21 days of training, followed by a 1 day ATA assessment. Training covers Engine management, Diesel/petrol injection, hybrid technology, airbags, air conditioning, as well as many other areas. After all of this extensive training and assessments, 48 days in total, certainly leaves a technician at the highest level of qualification in diagnosing modern cars.
