The Drogheda Motor Show was launched this week at the Tall Ships Festival.  The motor dealers of Drogheda took to alternative transport and boarded the Irene for a night of fun and a little information about the show!

This year’s event will feature several new exhibitions, including a Vintage car display, safety demonstrations and a new lifestyle theme.  This will show new car buyers how their cars can be fitted out for their holidays, their sports activities or for the comfort of those in the back seats!

International model Michelle McGrath was on hand to add a little glamour to the event and certainly took to the new cars on display at the launch!
The Motor Dealers were also glad to host the Mayor of Drogheda, Paul Bell, Minister Fergus O’Dowd, Deputy Ged Nash and many other local dignitaries who all wished great success on the show this year.

Simon McCormack of Western Motors is inviting all members of the public to the show on the 7th, 8th and 9th June in Southgate Shopping centre at Colpe.
“This show is going to be the biggest and best show we have put on yet and there is going to be so much for the family to enjoy, especially as it is free entry for all.”

This weekend event will showcase the 2013 new car range from eleven local franchise motor dealerships and launch the new ‘132’ number plate!  It was the 1st motor show of its type in Ireland and many towns are now copying Drogheda but the original is still the biggest and best!

Access to the event is free of charge and most of the event will be held indoors. Children are welcome and the adults can browse at their leisure throughout the various vehicle display areas and food stands.  More info can be found on www.facebook.com/BrandNewDrive and www.droghedamotorshow.com
