Drogheda & District Chamber were delighted to host the launch evening of the Award-Winning Drogheda Motor Show - Brand New Drive 2012 Event at The d hotel on Thursday 9th February. National senior industry and financial partners were among those on the guest list. As they arrived in Drogheda they were welcomed in style by a fire breather and top Irish model, Tiffany Stanley.

Padraic Kierans President of the Drogheda Chamber, Richie Culhane Deputy Mayor of Drogheda and Alan Nolan Director General of The Society of the Irish Motor Industry were the speakers on the evening. They all spoke of the positive work carried out by the Drogheda Motor Dealers and congratulated them for their remarkable response in these difficult market conditions. The evening was a great success.

The Drogheda Motor Show will take place in the SOUTHGATE Centre, Drogheda from 2nd to 4th March. Over 100 new vehicles will be on display and the event aims to offer the new car buyer greater choice in one location on one occasion. Admission is free of charge but it is hoped that visitors will support the three selected charities over the weekend. These are The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, The Alzheimers Society of Ireland and The Malta Services Drogheda - three worthy charities.
