Irish Rugby Player, Ian Madigan, has been announced as the first Ambassador for the new stand-alone premium DS Automobiles Brand.

Ian, who was previously an Ambassador for Citroën, picked up his new DS 5 in Castletown House, Celbridge, last month, where the DS Brand flagship was officially launched in Ireland.

Speaking about his new role as DS Brand Ambassador, Ian commented, “I am delighted to become a DS Brand Ambassador. I have always admired the premium DS range and was previously lucky enough to drive the striking DS 3.  I am extremely impressed with the redesigned DS 5 and excited to be one of the first to drive this distinctive new model. I look forward to working with the DS team in helping to establish and develop the profile of the new DS Brand in Ireland.”

Louise Murphy, Commercial Director, Citroën Motors Ireland, commented, "With the launch of the DS Brand it is very appropriate that Ian becomes our first Irish DS Brand Ambassador at this exciting time as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the original DS. As Ian has been an Ambassador for Citroën since 2012 we are thrilled to be renewing our support and wish Ian the very best of luck with his continued rugby career.”
