DuPont Performance Coatings UK Limited has announced an extension to their current Preferred Supplier Agreement with AXA UK plc.

The new agreement will also see AXA subsidiary Swiftcover joining the preferred supplier arrangement.

Under the terms of the Agreement, Swiftcover will recognise DPC as its preferred refinish coatings partner with immediate effect.  Swiftcover Approved repairers will be able to choose which of DPC’s three premium paint brands to use in the course of repair to Swiftcover-insured vehicles.

The agreement will also see all AXA field and technical staff receive product awareness training at the DPC Refinish Academy at Stevenage. This exposure to the technical aspects of paint repair will ensure that AXA personnel are fully up to date with the latest developments in paint technology.

Nigel Glass, Marketing & Strategic Planning Manager DPC Refinish Systems commented, “We continue to offer bodyshops a choice both in terms of paint brand and the distribution route through which they purchase it. The fact that AXA has chosen to extend our agreement and to incorporate Swiftcover is testament to the benefits it has derived from the original relationship and we look forward to working closely with Swiftcover staff and their approved repairers in the future.”

The agreement does not apply in Ireland.
