Mondello Park is pleased to announce that SEAT Cars has renewed its association with the County Kildare venue's 'Early-Drive' Schools road safety programme.

Early-Drive is jointly run by Mondello Park and Irish School of Motoring and is the country’s top transition year road safety programme.

Early Drive is a clever mix of classroom, practical demonstration and driving tuition, using Mondello Park’s 3.5km of private road network, Pit-Lane garages and conference centre as well as the circuit's Museum of Motorsport. The programme sees schools attend from all over the country with the course teaching students how to be safer pedestrians, cyclists and ultimately motorists in their own right.

SEAT's association with the programme dates back to 2012 and the company has just renewed the fleet of cars for 2014. SEAT has provided Early Drive with six of their super mini 5 door Mii models, which continue to prove hugely popular with the students. Five of the cars have dual controls fitted and the sixth is used for the static brake reaction tests that are carried out during the course.

In addition to the six Mii’s, SEAT also provides Mondello Park with its superb Leon FR model, for use as a courtesy car and course car at the circuit. The Leon is the perfect car for the technical Mondello Park track, with its swift performance, agile handling and modern styling make it ideal for showing clients and visitors around the venue.
