Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators (AVRO) President Eilis Murray, became the first woman from Europe and the first person from Ireland to enter the Hall of Fame at the International Towing & Recovery Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Eilis joined colleagues from the USA and Canada, as part of the annual ceremony to induct new members to the Hall of Fame.


Those entering the Hall of Fame are considered as having made a significant contribution to the recovery industry and Eilis' work in leading AVRO, won her the support and nomination of her colleagues.  She took over as the first female president of the association in 2009 and is now in her third term.  Eilis was accompanied to the Hall of Fame ceremony by council member and former AVRO president Steve Shinnick.

Eilis' portrait will join all the others on a special wall in the Hall of Fame, recognising almost 300 professionals who have received the highest accolade in the international recovery industry.  In all around 20 countries were represented in the Hall of Fame.
