The US based LKQ Corporation has formally announced that Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia has resigned from his positions as a Director of LKQ Corporation and as Executive Chairman of its Euro Car Parts operation in the UK. The man who founded Euro Car Parts leaves to concentrate on a family property business.

The move comes after recent reports in the UK media that bosses at LKQ and the executive management team at Euro Car Parts have been in dispute over cost cutting plans which are expected to see many job cuts at the UK and Ireland car parts distributor. It is also understood that chief executive Martin Gray and chief operating officer Steve Horne are to leave the company.
