SWAG has extended its range of engine and transmission mountings to include over 120 new parts. New applications include Volkswagen Golf 7 and Ford Kuga.

The new products are part of the SWAG Extra programme designed to provide components often thought to be exclusive to the main dealer. SWAG Extra offers 1,400 selected parts from various different product ranges, providing a value-for-money alternative to OE.

Engine and transmission mountings ensure smooth, stable and quiet driving. They carry the weight of the engine and absorb vibrations. High quality mountings are vital to ensure maximum control and safe driving. The rubber on a mount wears over time, and as the mounting cracks or perishes, the engine may shift slightly which can cause excessive vibration. It is important to check the mounting regularly and replace if there are any signs of wear.

SWAG supplies a range of over 700 engine mounts, with over 30,000 applications for a variety of vehicle makes and models including Seat, Renault, FIAT, Opel and Volkswagen. SWAG mountings use OE grade rubber to ensure optimum performance and long service life.
