Schaeffler continues to forge ahead with the expansion of its FAG wheel bearing range, with the introduction of 11 new kits for some key vehicles on Irish roads.

The major new releases include an original equipment rear kit for the Ford Transit 2.2 TDCi, 12/2014-, a Gen III front kit for the VW Golf MKVII (5G1) 1.6TDI and 1.4 TSi, 08/2012-, and a rear kit for VAG stablemate, the Skoda Superb 1.4 TSi, 1.6Tdi and 2.0 TSi, 08/2015-. Light commercial vehicle additions also include front and rear kits for the Nissan NV200 van, 1.5dCi, 04/2011-.

Malcolm Short, Technical Services Manager for Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket said, “We are continuing to expand the FAG range to cover an even greater selection of cars and vans that are being worked on each week in independent garages. There are significant additions to our LCV range. We are OE on the Ford Transit, which is such a popular workhorse on our roads and we will be adding more Transit parts in the future.” He added, “We will continue to expand our range throughout the rest of the year to make sure that our distributors and their independent workshop customers have an even more comprehensive range of parts to cover the widest possible number of vehicles.”
