Federal-Mogul Motorparts made several important announcements at Automechanika Frankfurt with many of its well-known brands introducing new products and exciting technologies. As well as the launch of its new Garage Gurus technical training and support platform there were many other key developments.

It was announced that the Champion brand will expand it range with the launch of a bettery programme later this year to join the recently announced braking and lighting ranges.

Ferodo was showcasing its new  copper free Eco-Friction brake pads as well as its latest direction pads. It was also highlighting its recent OE success with Ford and Audi.

The Jurid braking brand was also celebrating its recent OE successes while also showing new technology lightweight composite discs, which offer enhanced performance and leading-edge durability.

The BERU ignition was featuring its new Iridium spark plugs alongside useful tools and sensors, all of which are promoted by an updated, more responsive website. The brand’s unique glow plug offering, which includes ceramic and pressure sensitive glow plugs (PSG), was also enhanced by extensions to the Glow Plug Control Units range. The companies many engine components specialist also had many new innovation on display, while the highly popular MOOG Steering and Suspension brand was exhibiting it new Hybrid Core Technology. This new innovation focuses on enhancing safety, improving durability, and offering higher quality through the use of carbon-fibre reinforcement and induction heat treatment. This makes the new products are now stronger and more durable.
