Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH + Co. KG has announced that it will acquire 100 percent of the company KM AUTO TECHNIK Kary + Mangler GmbH on 3 April 2017. Karsten SchüsslerBilstein and Jan Siekermann, the managing directors of the renowned supplier and manufacturer of car and commercial vehicle spare parts, will now take the lead on the future development and strategy at the clutch specialist KM in Durmersheim.

The move will also be combined with the official integration of KM into the bilstein group, the umbrella brand of Ferdinand Bilstein GmbH + Co. KG. It will join product brands febi, SWAG and Blue Print, which are already united under the group umbrella. Integration of KM is expected to be concluded during the course of 2018.

Karsten Schüssler-Bilstein and Jan Siekermann  say that as an established and successful brand for clutch technology, KMs integration into the bilstein group will offer customers an even wider range of spare parts. KM's partners will also benefit in future from bilstein group additional services, its international presence and its efficient logistics processes.

KM AUTO TECHNIK has been a major independent aftermarket supplier for over 25 years. It offers a constantly growing clutch range currently comprising more than 1500 parts for cars, vans and commercial vehicles.
