Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland has relocated from its old home near the Red Cow Roundabout in Dublin, to new headquarters just a short distance away on the Naas Road.
The landmark property, which was formerly Nissan Ireland’s headquarters, was sold in 2008 for redevelopment, which never consequently took place. Over the past few months Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland has completely renovated the 5,000m2 building and has renamed it “Agnelli House” in honour of Giovanni Agnelli who founded Fiat in Turin in 1899.
The move coincides with Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland’s expansion this summer, when the company takes over the sales, distribution and aftersales of the Chrysler and Jeep brands in Ireland. Fiat Automobiles SpA assumed control of Chrysler and Jeep in 2009.
According to Adrian C. Walsh, Managing Director of Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland, “The relocation underscores Fiat Group Automobile Ireland’s confidence in, and commitment to, the Irish market despite the country’s current difficulties. It also signals the resurgence of the Fiat, Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Chrysler brands in Ireland as we head into an exciting and relentless phase of innovative new products over the next few years.”
