Filling the gaps with the partsfinder Future Article Notification System
Share:

For technicians or factor staff who are ever been frustrated by the non availability of a certain part in an aftermarket range, bilstein group offers a facility where they can make requests and are then notified when the part is introduced.

The handy tool has been incorporated into the partsfinder online catalogue. The Future Article Notification System, also known as FANS is the quickest and easiest way to get part requests to bilstein group and when the part is eventually incorporated into the range, the system will let the requester know by email.

First introduced in 2021, FANS has had over 42,000 request submissions, an average of over 35 per day. Requests have so far been sent for 90% of the countries of the world.

Using FANS is simple process. To make a request just visit the Partsfinder website, click on the FANS link and fill in the details of the part requested.

A good example of how FANS can work is with febi 174862, an Engine Mounting for the Ford Transit (2013 on) and Transit Custom (2012 to 2023). Many site visitors request this part which has an OE reference 2 015 369. Based on this feedback it was added to the febi range in August 2023 and has since become the 7th highest seller in engine mounts range in 2024.
