Ford is making the most of its Aston Martin links, with the styling on its new Mondeo design, which will go on sale next year.

The car is very much based on the Evos concept, which has done the rounds to much acclaim at global motorshows, with its most distinguishing feature an Aston Martin-like grille, with slim headlights. The new model will also bring much of its green concept thinking to fruition with petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions all available.

It will also be a car designed to minimize the risk of accidents, employing systems such as lane keeping assistant, blind spot information, adaptive cruise control and active park assist.
