Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs, based in Oranmore, Galway, has once again been named as a finalist in the Bodyshop category of The Society of Irish Motor Industry Awards 2016 which are sponsored by Bank of Ireland Finance. A pervious winner of the award in 2012 and 2014, the business has confirmed its status as one of Ireland’s premier accident repair centres by being named as one of the top three finalists.

The SIMI Bodyshop of the Year Awards are open to all body repair businesses in Ireland and recognise a repairer’s commitment to exceptional quality of work and business performance. The winner will be announced at the SIMI Annual Dinner which is being held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Dublin, on Thursday February 18, 2016. A panel of experienced Motor Industry experts judge entrants based on their application of best practice to achieve outstanding performance.

Managing Director Frank Byrnes commented, “We constantly seek to surpass expectations and achieve excellent results in our business, and our priority is to take care of our customer at a stressful time. By entering this competition we see how we compare at national level. Having been nominated in the top three is very satisfying but we have our sights set on a win.”

The company has adopted an innovative approach to business over the years and recently introduced a new repair initiative. Franks said, “Last year we launched our new Overnight Body Repair Service, the first of its kind in Ireland, where we repair dents, marks and scrapes overnight while the customer sleeps. Demand for this service is growing and our customers are delighted with this convenient option that works around their lives.”
