Get tyre compliant with TRACS
Share:

Compliance with waste management regulations is now a legal requirement for all retailers, suppliers, collectors and receivers of waste tyres. If you sell tyres, even if it's not your main business, you must be registered with a compliant body.

Tyre Recovery Activity Compliance Scheme (TRACS) is the compliance scheme recommended and supported by the Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA). The membership cost of €20 + VAT per annum + €5 per additional premises, is significantly less than the amount involved in self-compliance.

Being a TRACS member will save your business time, money and effort and avoid any risk of prosecution for non-compliance. TRACS membership exempts businesses from the preparation and submission of frequent and time consuming reports, waste management plans, applications for registration, and submission of a report to the EPA by the 28th of February each year.  Anyone who registers with TRACS, benefits by being exempt from these obligations.

TRACS has adopted the best security and data management systems available and any information submitted is completely confidential and secure.

Contact TRACS on 01-410-0601. Ireland’s first Tyre Recovery Activity Compliance Scheme is a voluntary scheme set up by the ITIA for its members. More information, including a full list of importers, manufacturers, retailers and waste collectors in Ireland who have registered with TRACS is available on the TRACS website www.tracsireland.ie
