Kearys Renault in Cork has been named as a Renault Dealer of the Year at a presentation in Paris.

The Groupe awarded the best dealers of its sales network where more than 2,500 dealers took part in the challenge across 35 countries.

There were only 106 winners of the 2016 DOTY awards and Kearys was the only Irish winner.

The DOTY winners were selected on the basis of four criteria including sales performance, customer service quality and compliance with brand standards.

The award was presented by Thierry Koskas, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Groupe Renault to Brendan Keary, Dealer Principal, Kearys Renault, where Mr. Koskas acknowledged the commitment, performance and professionalism of the dealership. He underlined the importance of the dealers’ actions playing a key role in customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Kearys Renault on the Kinsale Roundabout in Cork is one of Ireland’s biggest Renault and Dacia dealerships. Over 80 employees work in Kearys Renault and they have many key sponsorships including Munster Rugby.

“Groupe Renault achieved excellent sales results last year thanks to the performance of its teams, especially that of the sales network, who accompanied and represented the Groupe with enthusiasm and professionalism. I would like to congratulate you for your daily work, always looking to improve customer satisfaction.” said Thierry Koskas.

Patrick Magee, Country Operations Manager, Renault Group Ireland said: “Congratulations to Brendan and the team at Kearys Renault who received excellent results in 2016 and excelled in customer satisfaction in sales and aftersales meeting their customers’ requirements. Kearys are a credit to the Renault network in Ireland and are constantly looking at ways to improve the way they look after customers.”
