Leading automotive parts and accessories distributor and importer, Carcessories, has announced that Greg Lonergan has been appointed as its new managing director. Greg who has been with Carcessories since 2003, and became the sales director in 2012, takes over from Conor Cosgrave, who remains as a company board member.

Speaking about his appointment Greg said, “I am delighted to be taking over as MD from Conor. The company can trace its origin back to 1957 and especially in the last 25 years, Conor has been instrumental in taking it from relatively humble origins to become a major force in the Irish aftermarket. It is an honour to step into the role of MD at Carcessories and I look forward to building on the huge success that Conor has built.”

Greg adds, “These are very much changing times in the automotive aftermarket and I want to keep the company focused on delivering the products and providing the level of service that our customers need. Carcessories has always been a company that has looked to present our customers with new business opportunities and this is something that we will continue to do. Conor has left the company very well placed to do this, with our excellent distribution facilities, highly knowledgeable  staff team and range of outstanding brands. My aim will be to make sure that the company and our customers have a bright future.”
