HBA, in conjunction with Sealey Machinery, recently held their 2008 golf outing at Esker Hills golf club in Tullamore.  The weather was extremely kind and the sun shone on some 40 golfers slogging it out for the honours! This year’s Sealey Shield winner was Ciaran Caffrey from C&F Dublin, with runner-up Michael Pitt from Rathangan Motor Factors.

In the low-handicap section, Noel Bermingham representing Auto Diesel Services in Limerick finally got his name on the HBA Shield, with a hard-earned 35 points and was closely followed by big Colm Sheehy from Macs in Castleisland.  Afterwards the gang consumed large quantities of food and alcohol and bopped the night away in the lively Bridge House Hotel. They’re already looking forward to next year!
