Henkel has launched a brand new vehicle repair and maintenance website, www.carrepairsolutions.co.uk. The site, which went live on 1st October, offers a rich resource of product information and applications guidance, providing dedicated support for workshops and distributors.
Through its TEROSON®, LOCTITE® and PLASTIC PADDING® brands, Henkel aims to create competitive advantage for its customers.
The Henkel products chosen by OEMs are the same as those used in the aftermarket and the new website is therefore the ideal platform for the company to exchange its knowledge and expertise gained from both sides of the industry.
The site splits into four main categories; windscreens, body repair, body protection and mechanical repair. A few keystrokes gives access to a comprehensive description of the most popular products in each of these application areas and there are also sections on cleaning and pre-treatment, small and smart repairs and equipment.
One of the key features of the site are on-line tutorials which provide comprehensive step-by-step guides on the most common applications in bodyshop and mechanical repair. Visitors can learn about metal and plastic repair, seam sealing and bonding, as well as applications to repair mechanical parts that keep the engine running such as retaining, gasketing, threadlocking and thread sealing. Direct glazing and glass repair are also covered.
As an added launch bonus the first 300 Henkel VRM website users to complete an on-line tutorial will receive a mini Bluetooth speaker. There are further opportunities to win prizes, both for the individual and their workshop including the opportunity to enter a best workshop competition with a special prize of a VIP package at the 2015 British Grand Prix.
