Heros and super-villains star in new Standox Calendar

The 2018 Standox calendar has been released. It is titled Comics & Cars and features 1970s and 1980s automotive classics with a comic strip treatment.

Photographer Ramon Wink, who shot the twelve iconic cars featured in the calendar, and his colleague Thomas Roth, who was in charge of the special post-production treatments, have combined two elements of global culture: comics and cars. The new calendar turns automotive classics into the hero or super villain of their very own comic. The special visual effects are heightened by the cars’ gleaming paintwork, which is the focus of the calendar.

Standox wall calendars have been created by renowned photographers for over 30 years. They are not available for sale, but are exclusively destined for Standox customers and for friends of the brand. Some of the images can be downloaded as computer wallpaper at http://www.standox.com/wallpapers.
