With staycations steadily growing in popularity, more Irish people are packing up the car and choosing to visit scenic Irish locations for their annual summer holidays.

Ireland’s most decorated Goalkeeper, Packie Bonner, has joined forces with Applegreen and Jaguar, to deliver another legendary save. One lucky customer will drive away in a 172 Jaguar XE and free Applegreen fuel for a full year, plus an exciting driving experience at Jaguar’s Art of Performance Tour.  Five runners up will also get their fill, driving away with free Applegreen fuel for year and an exciting driving experience at Jaguar’s Art of Performance Tour.

On hand to launch the competition was former Irish soccer legend Packie Bonner, who, with an international career of 80 caps has been part of some of Ireland’s most memorable sporting moments. 

Applegreen pride themselves on combining the quality of their fuel with ‘low fuel prices, always’, to guarantee customers the very best in quality and value for money, along with their trusted fuel source in the fully transparent ‘port to pump’ delivery of fuel.  Similarly, the Jaguar XE is the most fuel-efficient Jaguar ever, achieving 3.8l/100km and 99g/km CO2 on the European combined cycle.

The competition launches will run until July 21st. Every Applegreen customer who spends €40 or more on fuel at any Applegreen forecourt will have the opportunity to enter the competition; also online entries are available without purchase. A finalist will be chosen at random each week, with 6 customers then going forward into the exciting grand finale with the overall winner being announced on 21stJuly 2017, and will drive away in a new 172 Jaguar XE.
