The IAAF has held its Annual Awards & Dinner 2019. The sell-out event, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes and sponsored by Alliance Automotive, saw around 600 guests in attendance, uniting the aftermarket as it gathered under one roof for a special evening.

IAAF president Terry Knox kicked off proceedings, highlighting the varied and very important work IAAF does and thanked the membership for their support. IAAF chief executive, Wendy Williamson followed this up by issuing a rallying call to the aftermarket stating that despite all the changes and challenges in 2019, IAAF will continue to fight for a prosperous and effective independent automotive aftermarket.

Wendy Williamson, said, “I have been overwhelmed by the enormously positive feedback at this year’s event. The independent automotive aftermarket is very much alive and kicking and we will take this positivity forward into 2020. Thank you to everyone that attended the event and for their ongoing support of IAAF.”

Award winners and runners up announced on the night included:

Car Supplier of the Year (sponsored by Elcome): Winner: MAHLE Aftermarket UK; Runner Up: GS Yuasa Battery Sales.

CV Supplier of the Year (sponsored by Boswell Aftermarket): Winner: First Line Ltd; Runner Up: TTC, Truck & Trailer Components

All guests were able to make a charitable donation to the automotive industry charity, BEN, which, together with money donated from the IAAF Golf Days held over the summer, successfully raised a total of more than £6000.
