The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has announced the first Industry Briefing Bitesize session for 2021. The briefing will be titled, ‘The Digitalisation of the Automotive Aftermarket in 2021 and beyond’.

The exclusive membership event will take place on Wednesday 24th March 2021 via Zoom, starting at 10.00am until 11.30am. It will look at how digitalisation can bring the aftermarket supply chain, workshops, service providers and the customer together in a 360-degree journey.

Ben Smith, founder of PECUVi Automotive, is the first guest speaker and will be discussing his latest launch, ‘Intelligent Motorist,’ a new app based automotive vehicle health check solution. He has a wealth of experience in design, marketing and digital communications and has been working in the independent aftermarket for the past six years. Dubbed ‘the future of vehicle maintenance,’ the new ‘Intelligent Motorist’ app has been in production for the last 12 months and aims to digitalise the future of the aftermarket.

Mike Smallbone, head of membership development at IAAF, comments, “Our first bitesize session for the year will be an exciting one, offering attendees the opportunity to find out more about how they can digitalise their business and prepare for the future.”

An open forum will follow, allowing members to comment on key IAAF discussion points, where they will have the opportunity to gather more information on IAAF’s activity and how it is proactively supporting its members and the wider aftermarket.

Members can register for IAAF’s next exclusive industry briefing event on the ‘Digitalisation of the Automotive Aftermarket in 2021 and beyond’ by emailing anns@iaaf.co.uk
